NEW YORK ADA COMPLIANT WHEELCHAIR SIGNS
New York recently passed legislation requiring wheelchair symbols (International Symbol of Accessibility) on ADA handicap accessible signs to have the "active" wheelchair version. Going forward, wheelchair accessible signs in new facilities and new handicap sign replacements should have this new "active" wheelchair symbol. In addition, the word "accessible should be used instead of "handicapped." We manufacture ADA handicap accessible signs with this newly accepted "active" wheelchair for your facilities.
