features

  • Placed inside an aluminum frame with a flag or ceiling mount bracket, our single sided photoluminescent "glow-in-the-dark" EXIT signs measure 15" x 8.25" x .75" and are made from recycled environmentally friendly .040 thick aluminum. Each sign includes two directional Chevrons (arrows) that can be hand applied in the field. This luminous EXIT sign is ETL listed to UL-924 and UL-746C, and is acceptable to use in most building egress signage applications. It is engineered with a safe non-radioactive chemical light source and requires no maintenance, bulbs or battery replacement. Illumination is safe and uniformly consistent. At full charge, this material glows for a minimum of 90 minutes. Our Photoluminescent Exit Signs charge with only 5 ft. candle of ambient light without requiring any additional electrical wiring and has no expiration date. Legible viewing distance is 50 feet. Made in the USA. Hardware included.

    Requirements:
    Signs require that a minimum 54 lux of external fluorescent, metal halide, mercury vapor, or LED illumination must be present on the face at all times during building occupancy. (Minimum afterglow duration - 90 minutes.)

    Photoluminescent material has a life expectancy of 30 years.
