Photoluminescent Exit Signs for Emergency Egress Applications

Photoluminescent exit signs are a dependable solution for identifying emergency exit routes in commercial, industrial, institutional and public buildings. These glow-in-the-dark EXIT signs are designed to remain visible during power outages, helping support safe building evacuation without the need for electricity, bulbs, batteries or routine electrical maintenance. UL 924 listed photoluminescent exit signs are commonly used for building egress signage, stairwells, hallways, corridors, emergency exit doors, factories, warehouses, offices, schools, hospitals and other facilities where compliant life safety signage is required. Their non-radioactive luminous material charges from ambient light and provides long-lasting visibility when lighting conditions change.

Maintenance-Free Glow-in-the-Dark EXIT Signs

Unlike electric exit signs, photoluminescent EXIT signs do not require wiring, replacement lamps or backup batteries. This makes them an energy-efficient and low-maintenance option for many fire code, building code and emergency wayfinding applications. Available mounting options help support wall, projection and ceiling mount installations depending on the building layout and exit path requirements.
