Measuring 8.5" wide by 12.5" tall, this portrait-oriented sign is designed to accommodate a standard 8.5" x 11" printed paper insert.
A built-in clear, non-glare window allows the evacuation map or emergency plan to be easily viewed while the removable insert can be updated whenever building layouts or emergency information change. A photoluminescent backer behind the insert helps provide visibility after surrounding lights go out, making the sign especially useful for emergency preparedness and power outage situations.
Customers can select their preferred tactile title from the available options: EVACUATION MAP, EVACUATION PLAN, or EVACUATION ROUTE. The tactile lettering provides a clear, permanent identification of the information displayed on the sign while complementing the photoluminescent construction.
The durable layered design includes a matte acrylic face, clear non-glare window, photoluminescent backer, and laser-cut tactile text. VHB foam mounting tape is applied to the back for convenient installation. The evacuation map insert is not included, allowing customers to print and update their own building-specific emergency information as needed.
For optimal illumination of the evacuation information during a power outage, we recommend printing the map or plan on clear acetate or another suitable transparent material.
