Important Notes:

• Grade 2 braille is approx. 1/4" tall and cannot be re-sized or squished to fit a space. Braille Patches/Labels may need to be re-sized to fit the amount of characters, with the smallest patch size being 1/2" tall x 1" wide.
• Patches can have more than one-line of braille if needed or required to fit the installation space. Please note of any size limitations.
• Background of the patch is made from 1/16" thick rigid material and will not bend/flex to a curved surface (this is not a sticker).
• Braille beads are clear and reflect the background color to which they are inserted.
• With clear patches, the adhesive tape will show from the front (see images here).
  

**Depending on an inspector's interpretation of ADA sign requirements, adding braille patches to existing signs may not make them ADA compliant (best practices involve braille on the same plane of surface as the rest of the sign, and not elevated as it will be by adding these patches/labels).
