Indemnification
  PURCHASER SHALL INDEMNIFY, DEFEND AND HOLD SELLER HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ALL ACTUAL OR ALLEGED LIABILITY, LOSS, DAMAGE, COST AND EXPENSE, INCLUDING ACTUAL ATTORNEY'S FEES AND COURT COSTS, TO THIRD PARTIES RESULTING FROM PURCHASER'S BREACH OF THIS AGREEMENT, OR FROM THE USE OF MERCHANDISE WHILE SUCH MERCHANDISE IS IN PURCHASER'S, OR PURCHASER'S END-USER'S, POSSESSION OR CONTROL. IN ADDITION, PURCHASER AGREES TO DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD SELLER HARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, LOSS, DAMAGE, COST AND EXPENSE, INCLUDING ACTUAL ATTORNEY'S FEES AND COURT COSTS, WHICH SELLER MAY SUFFER OR INCUR ARISING FROM PURCHASER'S RESALE OF MERCHANDISE, PURCHASER'S OR END-USER'S LABELS, PACKAGING, SPECIFICATIONS, SALE OR USE OF MERCHANDISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ACTUAL OR ALLEGED PATENT, TRADEMARK OR COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT.

You may pay at check-out by VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover, or you may mail your check or money order.  You may also call in and order by phone at our toll free number 1-888-462-5008 and pay by credit card.  

If you mail your check, please be aware that we will not process or ship your order until all funds have been cleared.  

We do not accept COD orders.  Should a PO be accepted, we reserve the right to require a 50% deposit should the total order exceed $1000. A late charge of 1-1/2% per month will be applied to account balances considered past due relative to our terms. Balances past due for more than 6 months will be considered delinquent and we reserve the right to collect past due amounts as we see appropriate which may include collection agencies or legal action.

For security purposes, we ask that you do NOT e-mail us your credit card number.  For your added security, when placing your order on our website, we use encrypted payment systems (128 bit SSL) on our website so no clear text copies of your credit card number are transmitted over the internet. 

The credit card industry has taken fraud very seriously and suggests that card numbers are entered electronically over a safe and secure website .  Accepting card data over the phone is frowned upon and although permitted, it is not considered ideal protocol or secure. Accepting card data over the phone exposes www.justbraillesigns.com to additional liabilities and increases our responsibilities in the forms of security checks and requirements.  For this reason, we may ask that once your phone order is placed, you will have to sign in to your account and enter your credit card information yourself.

Product Warranty / Sign Compliance Disclaimer
  All products are warranted by SCS Sign Company / JustBrailleSigns.com to be free of defects in material or workmanship, at the time of shipment. Our liability shall be limited to replacement of the product, if it can be determined that the product was defective at the time of shipment. Defective products, subject to our inspection, will be replaced or repaired on a no charge basis. Damage caused by, accidents, or improper use, is the responsibility of the Buyer. We are not responsible for misuse of the products, or if the Buyer is unable to use the product. This warranty is in lieu of any other warranty expressed or implied.

All shipping costs related to returning the product to the Manufacturer for inspection will be prepaid by the buyer. Shipping costs will be reimbursed if parts are determined to be defective. Shipping non-defective parts back to the Buyer will be paid by the Buyer. All expenses, losses in revenue, and labor charges arising or originating from the failure of defective parts will be borne by the Buyer.

Sales & Use Tax Notification
 
Orders shipped within the state of Minnesota will have sales tax added, in addition to any applicable city or other taxes. We also collect sales tax in CO, FL, GA, IL, MI, NJ, NC, and OH. Those exempt from sales tax in the states where we collect tax, need to e-mail or fax us your sales tax exempt certificate. If your state has sales tax or use tax, it is your responsibility to pay Sales Tax and/or Use Tax directly to your taxing authority if applicable.

For states imposing sales or use taxes, your purchase may be subject to use tax unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. This purchase is not exempt from sales or use tax merely because it is made over the internet or by other remote means. Many states where product purchases are taxable require purchasers to: 1. file a sales and use tax return or complete the appropriate section(s) on your annual tax return reporting all purchases that are taxable in the state and for which no tax was collected by the retailer, and 2. pay tax on those purchases. Additional information on sales and use tax reporting requirements can be found on the Department of Revenue website for your state. Many states require purchasers to file a sales/use tax return at the end of the year reporting all of the taxable purchases that were not taxed and to pay tax on those purchases. By providing your email address to us at the time of order placement, you are in agreement to receive any Use Tax notifications required of SCS Sign Company. (www,justbraillesigns.com), by the various state tax compliance departments.

SCS Sign Company (www,justbraillesigns.com) is occasionally assessed sales tax on certain products by suppliers and manufacturers located within the purchaser’s state. These sales tax amounts on related product sales may be passed through to the purchaser on their sales invoice. The purchaser may still be liable for remitting use taxes on the total order amount. Please refer to the sales and use tax regulations within your state for instructions on assessing and remitting sales and use tax liabilities.

SCS Sign Company (www.justbraillesigns.com) is not required to and does not collect Kentucky sales or use tax. Your purchase may be subject to Kentucky use tax unless the purchase is exempt from taxation in Kentucky. The Commonwealth of Kentucky requires Kentucky purchasers to report all purchases of tangible personal property that are not taxed by the retailer and pay use tax on those purchases unless exempt under Kentucky law. The tax may be reported and paid on the Kentucky individual income tax return or by filing a consumer use tax return with the Kentucky Department of Revenue.

SCS Sign Company (www.justbraillesigns.com) is not required to and does not collect Louisiana sales or use tax. Individuals in Louisiana are responsible for paying use tax on an out-of-state purchase when the item purchased is subject to the Louisiana sales tax and the retailer making the sale does not collect sales tax on the sale.

Everwood Industries, Inc. (www.justbraillesigns.com) does collect Oklahoma sales tax. Individuals in Oklahoma are responsible for paying use tax on an out-of-state purchase when the item purchased is subject to the Oklahoma sales tax and the retailer making the sale does not collect sales tax on the sale.

SCS Sign Company (www.justbraillesigns.com) does collect PA sales tax. Pennsylvania sales or use tax may be due in connection with the purchase and delivery of tangible personal property to Pennsylvania individuals and businesses. The purchaser is required to file a use tax return if tax is due in connection with the purchase and delivery in the Commonwealth. This notice is required pursuant to the provisions of the Tax Reform Code of 1971. 72 P.S. § 7213.2.

Please be advised that pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws §§ 44-18-18 and 44-18-20, sales or use tax is due on taxable purchases made from SCS Sign Company (www,justbraillesigns.com). If tax was not paid at the time of purchase, the State of Rhode Island requires all customers who use, store, or otherwise consume taxable goods and services in Rhode Island to file a signed use tax return, Form T-205. This form is available on the Rhode Island Division of Taxation’s website (www.tax.ri.gov).

The purchase of tangible goods for use in South Carolina, on which no South Carolina sales and use tax has been paid, are subject to the use tax. Examples include: catalog purchases, goods bought online over the internet, or furniture purchased out of state and delivered to South Carolina on which no (or insufficient) South Carolina tax was paid.

Under Washington law, purchases are not tax-exempt merely because a seller is not required to collect Washington’s tax. Washington law requires Washington purchasers to review untaxed purchases and, if any tax is owed, file a Washington use tax return and pay any tax due. Shipping and Returns
 
Here are some things you should know about our shipping policies and Returns:

1. We ship UPS Ground, UPS Next Day, UPS 2nd Day and UPS 3rd Day.

2. We only ship inside the continental United States. We do NOT ship to Peurto Rico or Guam.

3. UPS Ground Service can take from 1-7 days depending on your shipping destination address, (please allow time for this). Your shipment will typically come from Minnesota..........see the chart below.



4. "Shipping days" does not include the day a package leaves the factory.

5. UPS typically does not deliver on weekends or Holidays.

6. UPS will not deliver to a PO Box address.

7. UPS Ground Service is not a "guaranteed" service.

8. Next Day deliveries require a signature upon delivery.

9. Our FREE shipping offer is not available for Hawaii or Alaska.

When you add items to your cart, you can choose your shipping method, and get an estimate on freight costs. You can do this without proceeding to "check-out".


RETURNS

We will replace products that have been damaged during shipping, however you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your shipment. Often, we will issue a UPS call tag, whereupon UPS will pick up the damaged package. If this is the case, be sure to retain and save all original packaging. Please understand, that we are NOT responsible for damages by the carrier.....the carrier is! We will make every effort to ship back your merchandise in a timely manner, however we are not responsible for the cost of expedited shipping (i.e. - 2nd Day or Next Day delivery). The merchandise will be shipped the same way as originally ordered. Faster delivery requests, in these circumstances, will be paid for by the customer.

Our signs are custom, and because they are unique and customized in nature, we are unable to accept returns unless they are defective as determined by us.
We want you to be 100% satisfied, and if for any reason you are not happy with your products or services, we will attempt to resolve any issues to assure your complete satisfaction.
